The Morden '6 n 6' Aquathlon took place on Sunday the 10th May at Morden Park Pool, London Road, Morden, Surrey. The event, organised by Kingfisher Triathletes and Z Tri took place in glorious sunny conditions.
With over 150 competitors vying for the aquathlon crown, and as part of the London league race series, it was a hotly contested event!
Both first male and female smashed the course record.
Congratulations to James Lock (Thames Turbo Sigma Sport) who retained his title from last year and grabbed a new course record in a winning time of 39.10.
Lucy Bowen (Thames Turbo Sigma Sport) was confirmed as first female in a new course record of 44.45
Well done to both of you!
John Worcester (Met Police) finished second in a time of 40.01 and Bradley Hales (Optima) was third in 41.09. Alice Keane (Optima) finished second female in a time of 47.09, and third was Karen Axelsdottir (Optima) in 47:31.
